Included on this reel are 40 splices of static, captured while scanning the vl, vf and uhf bands on an analog television set. Since the u. S. Conversion to digital broadcast signals in 2009, these bands have been providing endless streams of noise for all to enjoy.

Created with pure analog sounds from various drum machines and sinths, sampled with korg microsampler at 48 khz using the internal effects processor.

The loop was created with one of reaktor 5's instruments which was modified to create 4-second loops that sounds something like techno or general electronica. The drums are all created using a subtractive synthesizer, most of them sine waves and were modified several times.

Same program as in https://freesound. Org/s/457868/ butthe main clock (lfo_2) frequency is about 1hz. It's a minor scale?! as have split the octave in 5 equal parts. This strange scale sounds like a sort of minor scale.

A 60hz hum from my living solutions 5. 5'' tv receiving a very low voltage, which caused the tv to hum like crazy. Recorded with my cell phone.

Short arpeggiated synth loop. The instrument used is u-he's repro-one synthesiser which is a digital model of the sequential circuits pro one. The first part of the loop features a slow filter modulation. The second part of the loop features the built-in wavefolder distortion built in to the synthesiser.

My friend and i had rented a minimoog model d (c1977, not the reissue). We were jamming out some ambient-type sounds, and my mate is just getting lovely tones out the moog, going through a deluxe memory man echo/chorus/vibrato for extra analogue niceness. A little tune where uoki-toki polivoks vcf and intellijel μvcf are acting as vcos. I use one more sound source and that’s noise for the rhythmic sound. No sequencer. No midi. No keyboard. No over dub. Don’t know why i write this… it’s an nice experiment anyway.
